Espanola, also known as Hood, is one of the smaller Galapagos Islands measuring 7 by 14 km, and reaching an elevation of just over 200m. It is the oldest and the southernmost island in the chain and a haven for seabirds. The Eden docked at Punta Suarez on the western tip of Espanola.
